Take Me Home Tonight is not only a classic 80s song by Eddie Money, it is a new film that shows off the glory days of the 80s with Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, Demetri Martin and Teresa Palmer.
One of the 80s covers in the film is presented by Atomic Tom where they belt out a pretty cool version of Don’t You Want Me, originally performed by Human League.
While I don’t normally post music videos here, this one in particular features the cast of the film at an 80s Party in which they throw impromptu impersonations of some iconic moments in 80s film pop culture. Check it out:
Now I was in my teens in the 80s so a lot of that big hair and Neon colours influenced the man I am today. And of course the films of that era were what hooked me into being such a film geek.
This was just awesome. Awesome cover of the song, awesome 80s popculture tributes, and I was very surprised to see that break that features Topher Grace doing a pretty darned good Marty McFly!
