Bond 23 starting in November

Judi Dench has been one of those silver linings in the bond franchise, for close to 20 yrs now, so as one of the mainstays of the franchise it’s nice to have her deliver the good news on production.

I am going to do the next Bond in November,” she says, “I don’t know the location yet but hopefully it will be somewhere nice. I can’t tell you much more but I do enjoy ­playing M as she is such a strong character. I like being bossy and my grandson thinks its cool that I’m in Bond.

I really enjoyed both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace so I’m looking forward to seeing Daniel Craig reprise his role as the Blonde Bond. No word yet on who else they’ll cast, who’ll sing the title song, let alone what the (hopefully less dictionary prone) title will be. Rest assured, this one is still gently nestled within my ‘radar’.
