This weekend was no surprise to see Rango in the top spot. Johnny Depp’s golden touch seems to draw the crowds even without his oddly groomed face on screen.

With a Dishonorable mention, Take Me Home Tonight managed to sit outside of theaters and beg for $3.4million. I honestly am staggered that it did that poorly.
Its competition looked like it might split the top 4 (and I had no doubt Rango would lead that rodeo) but I really didnt expect the 80s throwback Comedy to come in so low. It didn’t even break the top ten.
Oh, may I also remind you one film that is STILL in the Top 10? Yeah, King’s Speech is 15 weeks in and still clings cozy to number 8.
