Lay speculation to rest as we are receiving confirmation that the ‘Teflon Don’ will make his transition to the silver screen with some AAA representation, so be cool.

Travolta had been rumored to be the leading candidate for the part of one of the Gottis for several months. Actor-writer Leo Rossi wrote the screenplay, described as revealing the relationship of a father who lived and died by the mob code and a son who chose to leave that world behind and redeem himself.
The film will be shot entirely in New York. Marty Ingels is an exec producer.
I like this news a lot. I think Travolta can pull off a really great performance in this type of role, when he tries hard enough, and I always like when he plays a ‘bad guy’ with charisma. I hope he really sinks his teeth into this one and manages to give us a great mob movie. This one is finding immediate placement on my radar as I think this movie has a lot of potential to be an instant classic.
