Matt Vaughn talks First Class Sequel and More

Early Reviews for X-Men: First Class are absolutely glowing. With all the positive news that the movie is receiving it seems that the crew behind the film are in full “promo mode” doing the rounds and answering questions but the surprise here is that Matt Vaughn ain’t dodging any!! He’s just giving answers! Look what he said about a sequel:

“I’ve got some ideas for the opening next film,” he stated. “I thought it would be fun to open with the Kennedy Assassination, and we reveal that the magic bullet was controlled by Magneto. That would explain the physics of it, and we see that he’s pissed off because Kennedy took all the credit for saving the world and mutants weren’t even mentioned. And we could go from there.”

“We will only have one more new character. I won’t say who he…I won’t say who he or she is! But we will only be bringing one more new character in. Because, I think, as Professor X is in a wheelchair, Magneto needs to have a nemesis he can fight with. Someone that will be his equal. I know who it is. It would be nice if I could say something, but I can’t, mate!”

THE MAGIC BULLET! IT WAS MAGNETO!!! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!!
I haven’t seen First Class yet, (or have I?), but I guess it’s safe to say that Magneto will be a bonafide bad guy by the time the credits role if he’s going to be the nemesis to fight. A mutant to be his equal? I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that this movie doesn’t somehow involve the Shadow King so much so that I can’t even imagine what Mutant could challenge Magneto that would be on Xavier’s team. Well, maybe Legion. Who do you guys think is tough enough to go toe to toe with the “Master of Magnetism”?
