Gary Oldman confident that Batman 4 will have a new team


Gary Oldman is talking Batman again and he recently expressed the sentiment that there will be a 4th Batman movie but that it will have a new team involved in it’s creation.

“For us I think it’s the end. Whether they will make more, my guess is probably,” said the actor. “They don’t have [‘Harry Potter’] anymore. So, there could be a Batman 4 and 5. It may be Chris overseeing it in a producing position, but for us and for Chris I think that’s it. It’s a great way to go out though. It’s a great story.”

The man has a point. With the void of Harry Potter raking in that Billion dollars a year I can see why they may want to continue churning out Batman movies and maintaining Nolan’s involvement in the franchise.

If they do get a new team involved could this revive any chances of a Justice League movie? A Batman that lives in the same movie universe as other DC Heroes like Green Lantern and Superman? I’m actually a little excited about the prospect…
