You know, I forgot all about that Tinkerbell movie that got announced a looooong time ago. I blame X-Men First Class and The Hunger Games. Either way, it seems that Ms. Banks is still aware of the project and is providing us on some insight on the status of this film.

“It’s a live action Tinkerbell movie sort of in the vein of ‘Elf’ in which I would play Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell gets thrown out of Never Never Land, and it’s about where she goes and who she meets and the adventures she has. Tinkerbell is one of the greatest characters because she’s mischievous and snarky and fun and sexy and jealous and vengeful.”
“We’re in script stage and everybody is really excited and blah, blah, doesn’t mean anything. You might as well not even write it down because who knows, it might not even happen.”
Sounds like it could be fun but she’s quick to let everyone know that this one might not climb out of development hell. Her star is still rising and Disney may be holding on to this project to see how high she can climb before resurrecting this project. I understand that. Still kinda sucks. I wanna see her in costume! She can put a “thimble” on my “finger” any day.
