The Crow reboot is another one of those movies that’s been having a difficult time making its way into production. Legal troubles for the film forced this film to a halt when it began to pick up steam but it seems that those issues have been resolved and that Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company have decided to play nice.

Statement from Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company:
“The lawsuit between Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company concerning THE CROW has been amicably settled out of court, and the parties will continue to work on the film together as planned. In addition, Relativity Media has dismissed all of its claims against The Weinstein Company for any wrongdoing regarding the release and distribution of NINE, and The Weinstein Company has dismissed all of its claims against Relativity Media.”
Isn’t that just so nice that money shared under the table can resolve just about any issue? This movie at one time had Bradley Cooper in line to portray the titular character but he jumped ship as soon as this movie started teetering toward production hell, so the titular role may be vacant but that also leaves the door open for opportunity. Not sure when things will pick up steam again, but I’m somewhat excited to find out where things go from here.
