For those following the, sometimes troubled, production of the Lone Ranger today is a day to rejoice. Today we finally get a look at Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp as the Lone Ranger and Tonto thanks to Jerry Bruckheimers penchant for twittering.

Wow. That’s pretty much what I expected as far as the Lone Ranger was concerned and Armie Hammer looks good from what I can see while portraying the titular character but the most difficult aspect of the movie will be trying not to be forgotten in forego of Johnny Depp. It’s a no-brainer that he has potential to steal the star power of this movie and this photo isn’t doing Armie any favors. Tonto looks rightfully badass in this photo showcasing yet another side of Johnny Depp we haven’t seen before no matter how many times he paints his face white for a film. Wow.
