Sly Stallone says Rambo will Die

Sylvester Stallone has been a hot topic in recent years bringing back to cinema that 80’s flair of action into theaters. Something he’s also done in recent memory was revive the dormant character known an “Rambo” and brought him back to theaters back in 2008. He’s been pretty eager to bring the character again and when asked about his proposed “Rambo: The Last Stand”

I’m dying to do another Rambo. He’s in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don’t think Rambo likes Mexicans.”

When asked if this would be the final Rambo, with the iconic character dying off at the end, Sylvester Stallone had one word.

“Yeah.”

The actor then went onto discuss why he desperately wants to return to the character one last time.

“Rocky is me after coffee. Rambo has reverted into kind of like an id: primitive, reactive and instinctual, almost like an animal. I love this character because he hasn’t quite been fleshed out. He’s like an errant knight, looking to die in a glorious fashion. He has no desire to go into old age or have a family. In the book, Rambo gets killed. I thought it was not the proper message. There had been close to 200,000 suicides by returning Vietnam vets. I said, “Why don’t we take him right to the edge without annihilating him?” Quentin Tarantino said, “You’re a coward, you should have killed him!” I said, “Quentin, you’re a lunatic. I want to do some sequels, brother.”

Rambo doesn’t like Mexicans? Mexicans are the backbone of AMERICA! How can you not love them and their sweet and spicy delicacies? They made SALMA HAYEK! That alone proves that they deserve respect and adoration.

He also mentions that Rambo will finally die?! I didn’t foresee that turn of events but the way he explains his ideologies it sorta makes sense. Rambo doesn’t want a family! Rambo wants to blow stuff up and die young. I can’t wait to finally see what he produces when it’s time to get to work on this film. Why don’t you guys weigh in on the death of John Rambo? Too late, too soon, or perfect timing?

"Vagrancy wasn't it? That's gonna look real good on his grave stone in Arlington: Here lies John Rambo, winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor, survivor of countless incursions behind enemy lines. Killed for vagrancy in Jerkwater, USA."
