Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows trailer is finally here

The trailer is finally here for Tim Burton’s latest film, Dark Shadows. The film has a very familiar Burton feel to it with its dark and gothic setting with a comedic tone. It has a release date of May 11, 2012 and stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Eva Green.

If the film is as good as the trailer, I expect it to be very entertaining. For those who don’t know, this is a remake and based on a television show that ran from the 1960s to early 1970s. Expect a very strong performance from Johnny Depp with this role being one that is close to his heart. He has openly admitted his fascination with the show as a child along with his desire to portray the role of the film’s main character, Barnabus Collins. With that said, I think this film has a talented cast, a unique plot, and looks to be visually captivating. I hope that the film can live up to the expectations set by this trailer.
