The recent loss of the singer is still fresh in everyone’s mind and it’s a little eerie to consider watching a film starring the woman at this moment. The film isn’t centered around Houston’s ‘Emma’ but she is one of the main characters within the film. Let’s take a look at the trailer and see what we might be able to expect.
The film is slightly cliche look at how someone rose to prominence in the music industry but appears to be one of the films that may at least have some appreciable performances from its cast. I’m still indifferent on the movie but that’s admittedly due to a lot Houston’s off camera problems.
Where does this movie lie to you? Somewhere between “the Preachers Wife” and “The Bodyguard” or not even close?
