Guillermo Del Toro is doing a wonderful thing by making this movie we refer to as ‘Pacific Rim’. Sure at first I was all disappointed that he wasn’t going to continue working on ‘The Hobbit’ but now that ample time has passed and he’s further along with this movie I’m really getting excited about this movie. So far we’ve only seen a few, grainy, shots of some of the actors in uniform standing around in a dramatic pose. This is a lot like that minus the actors and at a much higher resolution.
I really don’t know what to say when just looking at these costumes. They look neat and all but aren’t as exciting as a shot of one of the robots or alien threats would be. They look like an odd combination of a Judge Dredd uniform and a Master Chief armor, with a little Mass Effect thrown in for good measure. That’s about it. Any thoughts on this?
