Lebron James. I hesitated with even mentioning this or this guy on this site. Lebron James, love him or hate him, is one of the most famous athletes in the world right now. Something I often notice with the young stars of the NBA today is that they all aspire to be as good as, if not better than, Michael Jordan. They want to do what he’s done or out do him down to the number on their jersey’s and the accolades they collect with Lebron now stating he wants to take the next step by revisiting Space Jam.
Now, some NBA fans feel that it’s time for asecondinstallment and that LeBron James should becastas Jordan’sreplacement. James commented on the topic on Twitter, stating: “Ilovethat movie. Wish I could doSpaceJam 2!“
This is an interesting idea and I could definitely see that particularly aspect of the Looney Tunes franchise being revisited but there’s 3 problems.
1) You need Bill Murray to come back. Good luck.
2) You need Michael Jordon to make an appearance. Good luck.
3) Why would they cast Lebron James over Kobe Bryant? That guy lives in Michael’s shadow, why not let him graduate to Space Jam first? Oh yeah.
It’s a great idea and all kidding aside he probably is the most credible person to put in the role… which kinda makes me sad. I don’t see Bill Murray having chemistry with King James. We’ll see if this goes anywhere…
