The Movie Blog would like to express and share our condolences to the friends and family of the esteemed Tom Clancy. Clancy was only 66 years old but in his short time made a huge impact in Media & Entertainment. His writings created the famous Jack Ryan portrayed by Hollywood stars Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine.
I’m familiar with the writer, but I think I was first exposed to his work thanks to his influence in video games. If I’m not mistaken, my first exposure to the name was with a PS1 Rainbow Six game. I’m sure a lot of us have some sort of Tom Clancy related nostalgic memory and I think it wouldn’t hurt to take a moment and reflect. No pressure.
