A couple years back I attended the New York City Comic Con in which there was a Marvel panel showing off some previously unseen footage from Marvel’s The Avengers. Attending the panel were a majority of the cast as well as Marvel mega Producer Kevin Feige. Something that Feige himself stated was an interest to produce a film based on Marvel’s more space based characters known as The InHumans. The characters are primarily known as a tether to the Fantastic Four family of characters but has of recent expanded beyond prior associations into some of the companies’ most promoted storylines.
Recently I read something along the lines of Kevin Feige saying that the Marvel cinematic universe of films is planned throughout the next 5-10 years or something and today it finally dawned on me that this film may not have gone to the wayside like other previously rumored films. For one thing, this one came from the lips of Feige himself. Feige has also recently stated that there are a couple of films in the early stages that aren’t ready for announcement but are being produced alongside the previously announced Ant Man, Age of Ultron, and Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s entirely possible the Feige still has plans for releasing an Inhumans film in to address the Thanos problem that will likely culminate in phase 3.
I don’t see any reason why this theory couldn’t happen and since I’m on a roll predicting the future I’m willing to be the other unrevealed film alongside the InHumans will be Marvel’s Dr. Strange.
