Hey Guys,
Hope everyone is enjoying their New Year! 2016 looks to be amazing with a bunch of high profile film releases and some highly anticipated smaller films. As TMB is growing into it’s 11th year of existance, and going on my 5th year as Content Manager, TMB is GROWING!
You guys may have noticed a bunch of new names contributing articles in recent weeks and that has increased the amount of articles we publish in a given week. As we grow I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to button up some nagging issues that had affected the site like site load speed, broken RSS feeds and more. Here are a few things I’ve been working on:
RSS Feed
Our RSS feed has resumed working so you can now check out TMB posts in the comfort of your RSS reader of choice. This saves time from having to load up the site every day, but I hope you do anyway, and gives you another option of catching up with what we’ve produced.
YouTube channel
Those of you who visit our YouTube channel will have noticed that there’s a bunch of video content on there that’s not published on the site. You can find video content on our YouTube page to consume like interviews with directors and actors, B-Roll footage from film premieres and red carpets as well as trailers for films that may not have been published on the main site.
Our Facebook page is a fun destination where we share content from all over the web! You’ll find us sharing and commenting on film industry news and content from the entire film blogosphere and not just TMB content. Check out our Facebook page now and make sure you hit ‘like’ so that you’re up to date with our latest musings.
Google+
We LOVE Google Plus. It’s a completely organic way to keep up with TMB articles and news in the confines of your existing Google account. We share all of our articles and YouTube videos on Google Plus and occassionally run exclusive contests and giveaways that you won’t find in any of our other channels so make sure you visit our page and +1.
I’ll keep plugging along into 2016 and will continue to work on improving The Movie Blog for everyone and making it a fun destination for The Official Home of Correct Movie Opinions.
