xXx. How I loved thee. You were a terribly awesome popcorn movie that was full of predictability and nonsensical high risk action wrapped up in the spy genre (I think). The sequel was just as terribly awesome but decided to swap out Vin Diesel for Ice Cube which was just weird as hell and buried the franchise for over a decade. Since Diesel is a lot more humble these days after a long string of unemployment and was only revived by the Fast and Furious franchise he’s a lot more open to returning to roles that defined him in the early 2000’s leading us to this new movie. It’s a tease. I honestly think Vin Diesel has discovered the fountain of youth as he hasn’t aged a day. Oh and this movie seems to be full of action based on this 10 seconds of footage. Can’t wait to see more in 2 days!
