INDIGNATION
Logan Lerman is a terrific young actor. He was outstanding in Fury, but Indignation might have been his most prolific role. In the movie Lerman stars as a working class Jewish kid that goes to a private school in Ohio and becomes infatuated with a girl in his class. Sarah Gadon plays the girl. The film is mysterious in a non-mysterious way. The natural progression of the film make it intriguing as it moves along. There is a lot going on. There is the relationships between two young people that’s complex in a variety of ways. There is the cultural adjustment of college and being what it’s like being a young Jewish college student trying to fit in and and discover yourself in the 1950’s. The war looms in the background of the film. Indignation is a drama with many layers. This is a well done movie.
Indignation is out now on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD and On Demand
