THE BYE BYE MAN:

Don’t say his name and don’t think it or else The Bye Bye Man will take over your mind and body. The concept of The Bye Bye Man is clever and fresh. He isn’t a deformed beast or psycho killer, but he’s a mere figure who doesn’t even have to come in contact with you to impose his terror on you. The movie has moments that will make you jump. It is nicely directed by Stacy Title, a rarity to have a female film director, much less one that’s directing a horror, so you can see her influence and style by watching the movie. It’s a modern horror, that is set in today’s world with technology aiding and sabotaging the characters, which is kinda refreshing that it doesn’t have the timeless nature to it as many horrors do. The Bye Bye Man is a worthwhile watch.
