Owen Wilson is set to star as Drillbit Taylor this month, a movie about Bodyguarding some kids from some playground bullies. In the mean time he gets to hit on Leslie Mann. Yeah, I don’t mind her showing up in every movie coming out this year either.
The point is that Drillbit Taylor has one of the most unique contests out there to promote the movie. Cinematical has the scoop:
As part of the upcoming release of the upcoming film Drillbit Taylor, AOL is sponsoring a contest where you can win your own bodyguard for the day. The kicker — there’s no age cap! You have to be at least 13, have Internet access, and be a legal resident of the US to enter. Kiddies out there can become too-cool-for-school with their own bodyguard, or I guess you can turn your own heads at work with a day’s worth of bodyguard detail.
The movie is PG-13 so the age limit to enter is 13, however anyone can enter. Little creepy if you work at home.
So what would you do with a bodyguard for a day?
I think I would just walk around in public areas like I was all special and above everyone and make them wonder who I was. If they approached me, my bodyguard would interfere. If they asked who I was I would get indignant and say “You don’t know me??” and not tell them.
I would do that a lot.
Go to Drillbit’s Army to enter.
