Fantastic Four Footage Found

HumanTortch.jpgWell I couldn’t say seen, it doesn’t start with an ‘F’! After hearing word all around the Net about the new Fantastic Four footage with characters in full “flame-on” mode, so to speak, I just had to see it. It’s moments like these a movie can be ruined as you accidentally see a spoiler, however, there are no spoilers in it…I checked for you.

Unfortunately I don’t think I can say where I downloaded it from, wouldn’t want to get John into major trouble here, although it’s fair to say that one of the sites linked from MovieBlog carries the story and a link to the file. (John will no doubt edit this and add in the link if he feels he can get away with it)

Hey there Kiddies, it’s Uncle John here. Ok, without risking too much wrath from fox, the picture on the left is of the Human Torch… I think he looks great. What I WILL do at this point is put up a totally random link that may go to somthing interesting… I’m not saying that it’s anything in particular. Here’s the link. Ok, now back to Richard’s post.

So, onto the footage. The characters are introduced straight away with a brief shot of them all in full supe-mode. They all look good, and although it does all look like CGI test sequences, they come across really well. Apart from the actors talking about their characters (Chiklis rocks man, he really, really rocks. Just love The Shield for him and him alone.) there’s not a great deal to see other than short clips of the event that turns them, and very short action shots of them all showing off their powers. I was disappointed to see that Jessica Alba was fully clothed…I mean, that when she was shown with her invisible powers you could see outlines of her hands, etc. It almost looked like the CGI wasn’t fully applied, now that may purely be down to the fact that it’s when her powers are beginning to show, and the dialogue in the scene does suggest this.

Still, it’s an excellent teaser, and they couldn’t have done any better by releasing that teaser now. My pre-movie hype level has shot up. So has anyone else seen it? What do they think?
