Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa won’t even be out until November 7th and Dreamworks is already talking about a third.MovieWeb says:
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa continues the story of a group of Central Park Zoo animals trying to make their way back to the Big Apple.Calling it the “second chapter in one story,” Katzenberg said, “there is at least one more chapter. We ultimately want to see the characters make it back to New York.”
The third movie should just be the Penguins. They were the best part of this film.
I don’t know how they are going to make an interesting story out of animals that are craving to go back to captivity. Despite the celebrity status and comfy lifestyle it certainly will provide them it kind of breaks with common sense that an animal would willingly strive to return to a place to get caught.
Oh wait. These are animals that talk and make tiki bars out of bamboo. Forgive me. I had a moment there.
I think there is some potential for a Madagascar sequel and I look forward to it (the Penguins are in it) but I still wonder how they are going to do a third. I will have to wait to see what the plot is I guess.
With the hip leet naming convention I wonder if the Third will be Madagascar: Live 3 or Die Hard
