Great news! Remember that fantastic TV show The man from U.N.C.L.E. and the related shows? Well I was leaving the house yesterday for the first work Xmas party, and I just saw a glimpse of Robert Vaughn and David McCallum just being so cool, and I was so eager to watch it I almost missed my bus!
Even better today then when I should read in the BBC that they are making it to the big screen again. Well, perhaps not quite, but the story will be.
Newbie helmer Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake) looks set to direct a big screen version of classic TV series The Man From UNCLE, which Warner Bros is developing as a big-budget action thriller.
Just hope this time they can beat that T.H.R.U.S.H. Ahem. I have cream for that.
