We have news about the fancy new romantic adventure Leap Year starring the porcelain princess known as Amy Adams to share with you today. We are pleased to do so and have obtained the following scoop from the hallowed halls of the Hollywood Reporter.
Adams will play an uptight woman who travels to Dublin to propose to her boyfriend on leap day, Feb. 29, following an Irish tradition in which women propose to men on that day and the man has to say yes. When weather derails her trip, she enlists the help of a surly Irish innkeeper to make an unexpected cross-country trek to pull off the perfect proposal in time.
Although no director is on board, Spyglass is eyeing a mid-February start. Cassidy Lange is the overseeing exec.
Amy Adams looks about as wholesome as a person can look. If she told me that Jesus gave her a special message for me, I would believe her and be baptized in her church without tarry. Every 5 year old in the world wishes that she would be their Kindergarten teacher, I do – and I’ m 31. Are you allowed to go back to improve your kindergarten credits? My finger-painting sucks, I need a refresher.
This marriage adventure on the emerald isle sounds to be a hit in the making for young lovers looking to see a romantic film full of hope. I generally hate this sort of shit, but Amy Adams alone may carry me (over her shoulder) into the camp of acclaim. She surprised me with Enchanted very, very, much and I will not doubt her power again. This film is set for a February production start and we will be certain to keep you posted on all the details that will follow.
I love dinosaurs.
