Matthew McConaughey In Failure to Launch

MatthewMcConaughey.jpgMatthew McConaughey is just one of those actors I like in just about everything he does. I can’t think of any truly fantastic films he’s been in (except maybe Amistad, but he’s been in a lot of good ones), or any Oscar worthy performances he’s given… but I just end up enjoying him in every project he works on.

Having said that, the good folks at FilmForce give us some insight into Matthew’s newest project that’ll he’ll be working on:

According to today’s edition of the Hollywood Reporter, McConaughey will star in the comedy as a thirtysomething guy whose parents trick him into meeting the love of his life in a bid to get him to finally move out of the house. Ah, the story of our lives here at IGN.

Hmmm… story of my life. Anyway, this premise sounds great. Add on top of that it’s also being reported that Tom Dey, who did a fantastic job on Shanghai Noon, will direct. Good stuff all around.
