Aaron Eckhart Leads Battle: Los Angeles

Aaron Eckhart has done a lot of different roles, but one thing he hasn’t really explored much is the action flick. Looks like he will be getting his chance in Battle: Los Angeles.

Yahoo says:

The art-house specialist, who had one of his biggest roles to date in the summer, playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the Batman sequel “The Dark Knight,” will now star in the sci-fi actioner “Battle: Los Angeles.”

The story revolves around a Marine platoon’s encounter in the battle on the streets of Los Angeles against an alien invasion. Eckhart will play the platoon leader.

Now I can see Eckhart as a military leader. The guy just oozes charisma and has just enough age to him to show he has the maturity to be respected when he barks.

One thing every military movie needs to have passion is heart, and Eckhart brings the heart of every film he is in, so I look forward to seeing what he does with this.
