Even after speculation broke out that Aaron Eckhart’s character Harvey Dent was wasted as the iconic Two Face, the door was finally closed in an official capacity. It was confirmed that Harvey Dent was dead.
Well last night at the Globes Eckhart managed to slip this elusive tidbit:
Does that sound to you like he is implying that Two-Face would return?? Personally I think it would be cheap to bring him back even though I would love to see more of the character. You cannot kill him off in the movie, then go as far outside the film to end the discussion once and for all, declaring Dent dead, and then bring him back anyways.
I think this might just be Eckhart throwing out a sound clip. Got me talking about him right now huh?
I don’t see Eckhart coming back as Harvey or Two-Face.
It is possible that while negotiating with Nolan (presuming he writes the third) they also want to make sure certain actors are available, but with nothing on paper yet, I don’t see how Eckhart would know this anyways.
