George Clooney buys another Rat Pack movie

GeorgeClooney.jpgI love the Rat Pack and I love Dean Martin. I have albums galore of his music and it’s brilliant to listen to for relaxing or driving along with the roof off. If you get a chance to see the Rat Pack stage show you should go, they are excellent impersonators, and you can almost believe.

Seems like George Clooney feels the same. Rope of Silicon have news from Moviehole that he has bought the rights to another Rat Pack movie for his Danny Ocean character. Robin and the 7 hoods.

Clooney has just bought the rights to Robin And The 7 Hoods, and on top of that news has already placed Brad Pitt and Matt Damon in roles.

The story will likely be updated, but the original tells the story of a corrupt Chi-town cop in 1928 in which Frank Sinatra becomes a modern day Robin Hood in Chicago by robbing the rich and giving to the poor.

Excellent. I just saw Oceans 11 on TV last night, and it’s better than I remember the first time, not fantastic, but good. So I am looking forward to this and hoping he can keep doing these characters justice, especially with the good team that’s been pulled together for the Ocean movies.
