Why does it feel like every morning, executives at Disney wake up and ask themselves “how can we make the public believe we don’t know what the hell we’re doing?”. Well, they’ve succeeded again.
The good folks over at Cinema Confidential are reporting that Disney has decided to go forward with The Santa Clause 3. I guess there just aren’t any other Christmas movies this year for Tim Allen to make.
Michael Lembeck (“Connie and Carla”) has been tapped by Walt Disney Pictures to direct “The Santa Clause 3.” Ed Decter and John Strauss, who wrote the second film, will pen the screenplay for the third film as well.
Tim Allen will reprise his role as Santa, or Scott Calvin during off-Christmas season, tries to battle it out with Jack Frost, who threatens to take over the cherished holiday.
Oh wow… did anyone actaully see Connie and Carla?!?! The was some fresh cheese my friends. I’m amazed sometimes how some people who are so rich can consistently make such bad decisions. I’m still just mad that they have the nerve to make Toy Story 3 without Pixar.
