Staying on the theme of bad ideas, Mr. Malcom in the Middle, Frankie Muniz (of the HORRIBLE Agent Cody Banks films) has apparently decided to cast of the awkward young teen image and decided to dive into a horror flick. Usually I’d say it’s a good idea to try to diversify yourself as an actor… BUT…
You gotta be more picky about the films you decide to re-invent your career with. And “Stay Alive” sounds more like a stupid career killer. The good folks over at Cinema Confidential give us this info about the project:
…a film about a group of young friends in New Orleans who reconnect for the funeral of a pal who died while playing a video game called “Stay Alive.” They discover that murders are being acted out in real life by the spirit of a local legend that might have come through the game with murderous intentions.
Anyone who is even SLIGHTLY interested in seeing this film raise your hands. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
