Josh Stolberg has talked about his Man-Witch comedy (not to be confused with the tasty sandwich sauce supplement) which was anticipated to come out from Warner Brothers with Todd Phillips to direct and Jack Black to star.
Now recently he let it slip that it got the green light and it is happening.
MovieWeb quotes Stolberg:
“Lastly, it’s looking like Man-Witch is a go at Warner Bros. I can’t say much about it at this point because the casting hasn’t been officially announced but it’s looking really, really good. More on that on an upcoming post.”
The premise sounds fun. Jack Black plays a teacher who finds out he has the arcane gift of the witches and like Harry Potter is inducted into a school for the magically gifted, but when he arrives he finds out that all his classmates are girls.
Jack Black has been off my radar for a bit and I might be ready to see his humour again. He is one of those personalities I wear tired of quite easily, but at the same time I find him silly entertaining. Small doses though.
This could prove to be mildly distracting and good for a laugh.
