Bourne 4 To Shoot Next Year?

I’m not a huge fan of the Bourne Identity franchise, but I’ve got to admit I really loved that last one and was very happy when I heard that they decided another film in the franchise was a good idea. It looks like things are still moving forward with plans for a fourth Bourne movie as producer Frank Marshall says they may be ready to shoot the movie next year.

The good folks over at Dark Horizons give us this:

“We’d like to shoot next year. It’s trying to get everybody’s schedules in the right place and getting the script right. We’ve done pretty well with these scripts that are pretty loosely put together, but I’d like the script to be really solid this time before we go forward. We’re spending a lot of time on this story” says Marshall.

It’s good that they’re taking their time, and I’d imagine trying to line Matt Damon up for stuff is a tricky thing to work out schedule wise. It’s worth it. If they can make the next film as good (or even almost as good) as the last film it’ll be one hell of a movie.

Yes, the Bourne story is played out… but with a super agent character, you never really run out of possible stories do you?
