Farrah Fawcett who will always be known as one of Charlies Angels has passed away at the age of 62 after a three year battle with cancer.
Fawcett, who checked into a hospital in early April, had been battling anal cancer on and off for three years.
Bloch told CNN that Ryan O’Neal, Fawcett’s romantic partner since the mid-1980s, and her friend Alana Stewart were with Fawcett at Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, when she died.
Fawcett has been a 70s sex symbol and the poster girl for and ambassador of feathered hair.
She is best known for her role on the original Charlies Angels TV series despite only being a full time cast member for one of its 5 seasons. She did make some reoccuring appearances on the show to fulfill some contract obligations, but is easily the most recognizable personality from the program.
