Pitt Says “Moneyball” Could Still Happen

The story of the almost film, Moneyball, has been a rocky one. The film adaptation of the Billy Beane that outlines how on a limited budget he kept the Oakland A’s competitive an in contention so many years using a mathematical formula on statistics. It’s actually fascinating stuff. I was never sure how they were going to turn it into a narrative movie mind you… but fascinating stuff nonetheless.

For VARIOUS REASONS the film was shut down literally the last minute before shooting was supposed to begin and all seemed lost on the new baseball movie. But wait… Brad Pitt (the guy who was set to star in the film) is now saying there could be life in the project still. Maybe:

“My gut says yes. It’s a weird climate right now. But we’re still trying to re-mount it. I hope we get to do it soon.”

I got not emotional vested interest in this. Could be fun, but wouldn’t miss it if it never happens either.
