Looks Like Kate Beckinsale Is Coming Back For “Underworld” 4, 5 and 6

Although the Underworld movies have never made a fortune at the box office, you have to keep in mind that they’ve been very profitable due to the fact that they’ve managed to always produce them for a relatively small budget.

Now, most of the success of Underworld can be attributed to Kate Beckinsale wearing really tight leather. But as it looked like Beckinsale’s career was taking off full steam and she was on the cusp of becoming a legitimate leading “A” list actress in this town, she (in all fairness… WISELY) decided to walk away from the Underworld franchise to pursue her future Oscar collection.

But a funny thing happened… her career has not taken off like gangbusters as most of us (including me) suspected it would.

So, with a free dance card it looks like Kate Beckinsale is going to be returning to the Underworld franchise for a reported new trilogy of films to start production sooner rather than later. It’s hasn’t been confirmed 100% yet, but the people I’m talking to say it’s almost a lock.

So what do you think? Would you be interested in a new Underworld trilogy if Beckinsale is back on board?
