Seth Rogen and Chris Pine are on a short list to play rival roomates who take in a third female roomate and both fall in love with her.
The story follows two life-long friends who fall for the same woman (Witherspoon) who has moved into their spare room. They end up fighting for her affections, a fight which literally demolishes much of New York City along the way.
So are these two friends superpowered? Literally demolishes much of New York City?
And really, between Chris Pine and Seth Rogen, who do you think Resse Witherspoon is going to chase after? This isn’t an apatow film. The socially awkward chubby beardy guy doesn’t get the girl.
But then Rogen has slimmed down, and with a stylist they could make him look pretty sharp.
This script was bought a decade ago and is getting the polish by writer Tim Dowling, with McG to direct with Will Smith and James Lassiter to produce.
