Looks like Fast and Furious 5 – being called just Fast 5 will be getting a big action star to bolster the pairing of Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.
Dwayne Johnson recently wrapped filming on his next action flick, FASTER, but apparently that’s not fast enough for him. The erstwhile Rock is in talks with Universal to co-star in FAST FIVE, the upcoming continuation of the FAST AND FURIOUS franchise with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.
I wish they would stop calling him the Rock. I trip over it occassionaly myself but Dwayne Johnson has clearly out grown his wrestling persona days and made the very rare step from wresting entertainment to acting.
But its about time Johnson stepped into these roles again. I can’t wait to see him in ANYTHING action, but I think he will be a good addition here too.
