Jessica Alba says no to Jeannie

JessicaAlba.jpgNo surprise really, the rumour round the Internet that we thought was pretty sceptical, is indeed, pretty sceptical. According to Cinematical:

Alba claims that she’ not going to play Jeannie after all. After last night’s VMAs, she told The Daily News that she just agreed to star in The Wake (“a little artsy movie”) with Hayden Chistensen and Sigourney Weaver, and that as far as she knows that whole I Dream of Jeannie thing ain’t happening.

Well there’s no surprise, they even had another actress cast in the lead on IMDB for some time. Just vain hope of seeing more of Alba I think! The funny thing about the story is that she’s also starting her own range of baby clothes…no, she’s not pregnant. Ermm, okay…it’s going to be along the lines of…

“clothing similar to what their stylish parents wear.”

That all too familiar sound of Richard slamming his head off of the keyboard again. Really, what are these stars up to these days? Anyway, she’s not in the Jeannie remake, and quite frankly who wants to see that?
