Rumors, rumors, rumors…gotta love them. Specially one like this one. The rumor reports that the beautiful Kim Kardashian is in negotiations to star as Lara Croft in a Tomb Raider reboot…
Let’s just go ahead and brand this one with a big fat rumor alert right off the bat. The news comes from Global Grind, which not only purports that Kim Kardashian is being considered for the lead role in the new Tomb Raider movie, but she’s already in negotiations to play Lara Croft. According to their unnamed source, “Kim is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience.”
KK is beautiful, hot & sexy. There’s no denying that. But playing the lead (Lara Croft) in a feature film? I don’t know about that. She doesn’t have any real acting talent. Yes, she could work her ass off by (lol) taking acting classes and getting in some other movie roles as experience etc; but talking the lead in a franchise that was established by the likes of Angelina Jolie? Too hard. I mean, she received a Razzie nomination for Worst Supporting Actress for Disaster Movie. And even worse, she lost out to Paris Hilton. Lol.
Also, all this talk about this rumor online, doesn’t give me a good vibe about what the studio is doing in regards to the franchise reboot. Gotta’ step it up and get serious.
