I don’t think I’ve met a single person in real life who has ever said to me “I don’t like The Wizard of Oz“. It’s just one of those things we’ve all grown up with… we’ve all seen as kids and all have special memories of. Well… recently an important part of those childhood memories has been snatched.
According to news sources, a pair of the Ruby Slippers worn by Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz were stolen from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids. And at this point, the police don’t really have any evidence or leads. So keep your eye open on eBay folks. As a side note, the slippers were insured for one million dollars.
