Bruce Willis for J.R. Ewing!

Not sure how much sway Larry Hagman has with the new movie production of Dallas, but if he has any he might just influence the casting of his old role. According to Digital Spy he’s keen for none other than…

Bruce Willis to take over his old role as JR Ewing in the movie version of the series.

Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta-Jones and John Travolta have all reportedly joined the film, while Hagman is convinced that Willis would be perfect to join them.

“I think he’d be great,” Larry told The Mirror. “He has a great sense of humour, he’s manly, and he’s had enough women in his life.

I have a feeling that if Travolta really is cast then he’s taking the role, just seems right to me. However, who can argue with the real J.R.? Who’s your ideal cast for the role?
