Two for the Money: Movie Poster, Trailer and Scenes

2forTheMoney.jpgWe have all heard about Two for the Money staring Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey, a story which will glorify the world of high stakes sports gambling. We now have an official poster for the film along with a slew of screen shots from the movie courtesy of Latino Review. To add a bit more media to your evening, you can also watch the full trailer on the official site.

It seems to be a fun movie, very reminiscent of Rounders -which is even mentioned in the trailer- to the fact that is deals with an underground gambling community wich is built up to be glamorous and sexy and then quickly falls apart. Also Pacino is playing the role we have been watching him play many times over. A big shot mentor who recruits a fresh new talent, takes advantage of him, is exposed for the true villain he is and then defeated. His role as the Devil in The Devil’s Advocate showed us this mentor character and in The Recruit as well.

Again it still looks like a fun movie, I like McConaughey and Pacino but I wouldn’t expect anything dramatically new. I will still go to the theater for Two for the Money just to see the scene where Pacino has his big yelling monologue, preaching to McConaughey how his way is the only way -and to see Jeremy Piven-. Those are good enough reasons!

You can find the full size poster and movie shots at Latino Review. Plus don’t forget to check out the trailer.
