X-Men featuring entire universe?

Is Brett Ratner and the Studio trying to cram too much into the new X-Men movie, or are we just being fed rumours galore to hide the actual story? Who knows, but there’s already a huge list of mutants in this movie and from Comic Book Movie there’s news of even more.

Let me put these quotes in the main story as they might be deemed slight spoilers…Oh, and beware, there’s even more spoilers under that CBM link…

…Okay, still with me, then we shall begin.

X3 director Brett Ratner is reportedly considering adding Omega Red and Gauntlet to the ever-growing list of mutants in his film.

According to X-Men Films.net…the scene has been shot already. The site says it’s part of the wooded scenes that have recently been shown with Hugh Jackman on the Web and may be a lead in to the Wolverine solo movie.

If you follow the CBM link you’ll get more spoilers than I’ve given here, as they talk about the actual detail of the scene, but I think that’s enough to be going with.

It sounds like there’s way too much in this movie already, and either they are pulling a blinding stunt and filming X-Men 4 or Wolverine at the same time, there’s tons of distraction stories out there, or actually the movie is cram packed with mutants…I tend to think the last one, but I’d hope for one of the other two. I know there’s been a lot of negative reaction already to this movie, is this just more of the same for you?
