Seems Robert Rodriguez is still chanting the same news that he hasn’t forgotten about Sin City 2.
Rodriguez has Spy Kids 4 to shoot next (this September) but he hasn’t forgotten about the continuing adventures of Sin City‘s stark black-and-white world:
“We’re still working on Sin City, I want to do it so we’ll see. It’s just a matter of when… We have a script… a rewritten script that we still have to write and it’s just finding the right time slot to do it.”
So basically, he is still promising that its happening and still doing nothing about it. While I was a fan of the first, I think it stands well enough on its own that I don’t need a sequel.
He has to find time to do it? How about you stop picking up other movies between announcements of “I have to find time”?
People ask, and he dodges so that its not an impossibility later. Smart political answers there, but still not anything that suggests a movie will happen.
Maybe when he stops being in demand and has time to do something he will fall back on that to get back in the spotlight.
