Rosario Dawson to Star in Killshot & Clerks 2

RosarioDawson.jpgRosario Dawson is going to be a busy women in the coming year and JoBlo gives us the scoop on some of her up and coming projects. Firstly Dawson will be staring in a new Tarantino production Killshot, working along side Diane Lane, Thomas Jane, Mickey Rourke and chalk another one up on the score board for Johnny Knoxville -man I hate being right all the time-.

Following Killshot, Dawson will also have a primary role in Kevin Smith’s return to Jersey sequel The Passion of the Clerks.

Her details in that film are a little sketchy but one might assume she’d play a romantic interest for either of our two leads, Dante and Randal. CLERKS is scheduled to begin filming in Los Angeles in January.

I absolutely loved seeing Dawson in Sin City, her performance as the lethal prostitute Gail was just as sexy as her outfits. She has shown her chops in other fims such as Kids, 25th Hour, and the recent Alexander. Personally I feel her style will mesh nicely with Smith’s. Smith is one hell of a story teller -check out An Evening with Kevin Smith– his humor relates with people of our age and he isn’t afraid of offending people if he needs to. He also reads The Movie Blog, so we know he has good taste.

What do you think of Rosario Dawson and the work she has done?
Do you think she will be a positive addition to the above menthioned films?
