Flightplan Reviews

Deep down I wanted the Flightplan reviews to be positive. I like Jody Foster and was hoping Flightplan would be a vehicle to reassert herself in the Hollywood sphere. But right from the first trailer I has a feeling it was going to crash and burn (get it? Flightplan is on a plane you see… and I said “crash and burn” hehe… oh shut up).

So now the early Flightplan reviews are flying in (get it… the movie is called… oh never mind) and it looks like it never achieves lift off (Oh man I’m on fire today!). Here’s what some of the critics are saying:

“The third act begins with another twist — but this one is so arduous, absurd and out of character for the film that the entire plot, stretching back to Scene One, is sabotaged”
Rob Blackwelder, SPLICEDWIRE

“Only the audience gets hijacked in this turkey, and the final destination is tedium.*”
Stefan Halley, HERO REALM

“Flightplan never attains liftoff since its basic premise is never made credible, even for a minute.”
Steve Rhodes, INTERNET REVIEWS

So there you have it, not exactly promising is it? As of right now Flightplan has a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. So basically the critics are saying Roll Bounce looks almost twice as good. That’s not good at all.
