Moneyball tells the story of Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget, by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players. Already a successful best-selling book, it was announced a long time ago that it would be adapted into a movie; one that included Brad Pitt in the lead. After various hiccups regarding the script revisions and the director’s chair, it appears that the ball is moving towards getting the moving finally made. Here’s our first look at Mr. Pitt in the set of the film.
I’m looking forward to this movie. I’m a big baseball fan (go Braves!), so I want to see this particular story told in the big screen. I have no doubt that Pitt will give a great performance. I’m relieved that they’ve finally started doing it. I’m definitely watching this.
