Weekend Boxoffice Report Oct 1st-3rd 2010

Seems this weekend, no one wanted to go up against The Social Network which left lots of room for second and third week releases to sit in the Top 5.

Boxoffice Mojo reports the Estimates

The Social Network – $23,000,000 – Opening
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole – $10,855,000 – 2wks
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps – $10,100,000 – 2wks
The Town – $10,000,000 – 3wks
Easy A – $7,000,000 – 3wks

I was very surprised not to see Let Me In hit the top 5, and it rests way down at #8 this week at $5.3m. getting beat out by a lot of movies in their second and third week.

What did you see this weekend?
