Another trailer has been released for Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours. This trailer tells us a bit more of the story and shows James Franco as his arm is trapped beneath the boulder. The fact that this film is based on a true story brings chills to my bones, funny enough I remember hearing about Aron Ralston’s story back in 2003 or 2004 when he first appeared on a talk show telling his story. Little did I know that 7 years later I would be watching a film in theaters based on the guys torturous story. The trailer itself is interesting enough but understandably you can only show so much of a film that is all shot in one place.
the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s (James Franco) remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah. Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary.
Now for those of you interested in Aron Ralston’s story but cannot wait until the film comes out, I highly recommend you watch this interview I found on Youtube, where Aron himself takes you through the entire survival story and how he got the courage to spend over an hour breaking his arm and cutting through his flesh to free himself from his desert tomb.
Hope you enjoyed the videos, now it’s your turn to share your opinions.
